About Us

Mount Preschool is open all year, Monday to Friday (see important information for details), offering flexible sessions to suit your family.

We provide a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children aged 2–5 can learn through play, exploration and creativity.

Our experienced team supports every child’s emotional, social and educational development in preparation for school and beyond.

Our Sessions

Snacks and drinks are provided both mid-morning and mid-afternoon. All meals are hand cooked on site and can be tailored to dietary requirements.

7:30am – 6:00pm

Includes breakfast, lunch and tea.

7:30am – 12:30pm

A flexible morning of play and learning.

1:00pm – 6:00pm

A relaxed afternoon of curiosity and play.

Additional hours subject to availability.

Ages 2 – 5 years

We welcome children from age 2 until they start school.
Open 7:30am – 6:00pm

Monday to Friday to support busy family life.

Closed 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week at Easter & Bank Holidays.

The week leading up to Good Friday in 2025
If Mount Preschool needs to close for any local or general elections (usually a Thursday in May), the date will be advised in advance and a funded day will be added to July.
